Mission

The Mobile Network Optimization Engineer will be the part of the Innovile Services Group and will be responsible for driving and participating in consulting and engineering facets of Mobile Network Quality Improvement Projects. In particular, the role holder will be leading the analysis, recommendations and implementation aspects of projects to optimize client network capacity, quality and performance to deliver outstanding customer experience and efficiency opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Optimization of 2G / EDGE / 3G / HSPA / HSPA+ / LTE / LTE-A radio networks by considering the coverage, capacity and quality goals and constraints, inclusive of technology related layers/elements (Macro, Micro, Indoor, Femto, Repeater etc.)
• Preparing the necessary feature and parameter configurations for new cell-sites
• Monitoring the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and "End to End" performance of network
• Frequency, code, PCI planning and optimization
• Determine field test needs and necessary time and configuration requirements for both case-specific and periodic tests
• Technical network analysis including:

- Analyzing field test results and reporting appropriately to indicate issues and opportunities for improvement

- Analyzing customer complaints to identify root cause (Failure Mode Analysis) and recommend actions to mitigate and prevent complaints

• Review and advise modification and/or deployment of existing or new features and strategies for mobile networks
• Constructing performance correlation between the different network domains (RAN, Transport, Core)
• Define, analyze and improve processes and procedures of the network quality monitoring and improvement operations
• Participate in trial projects for new clients, solutions and features

Essential Role Requirements

• Advanced experience in wireless technologies (2G, 3G, 4G) and quality improvement and analysis processes for mobile network RAN, Transport and Core domains
• Familiar with SON Features such as ANR, CO (BCCH, PSC, PCI and RSI Optimization), DLB, CCO, MRO etc.
• Strong knowledge of system topology & features and air-interface procedures & parameters for at least one of the main equipment vendors
• Experienced in using post-processing and analysis tools such as TEMS, NEMO, or equivalent
• Strong level of English language, written and verbal
• Minimum 5 years of experience in an optimization role for 2G / 3G / 4G networks
• Excellent knowledge in Microsoft Office components Word, Excel (Macro), PowerPoint, Access
• Bachelor's or higher degree in electronics, wireless, radio transmission, communications and / or related fields.
