Innovile signs contract with major Russian mobile operator

Turkish company Innovile, a provider of optimised network management solutions, has signed a seven-year contract with one of leading Russian mobile operators to help it effectively manage its network performance. The operator will use Innovile’s self-organising network (SON) system to standardise and optimise a multi-technology, multi-vendor mobile network spanning the whole of country‘s area. The implementation is scheduled to be completed at the end of this year and includes 13 SON modules.

Innovile has also recently signed contracts with tier one operators in both Turkey and Ukraine.

The Russian operator’s network currently consists of 800,000 2G, 3G and LTE base stations and is projected to grow to 1 million base stations in the next five years, its subscribers base totals 77 million.

Many Tier one operators, including Vodafone, Turk Telekom, Albtelecom in Albania, Bite Group in Lithuania and Nos in Portugal, use Innovile network management solutions.
